CARTONPACK GROUP has developed a high level technology and expertise in flexible films converting. Supported by several flexographic printing lines, with up to ten colors capacity, our industrial process is today a state-of-the-art benchmark both for food and fresh produce markets in the EU

The management and recovery of post-production inks is the flagship of CARTONPACK GROUP’s technology. Even in this case, environmental sustainability is one of the priority drivers that guides our strategies and our work in the various production stages.

On the technical side, our converting lines are set up to manage both monolayer and laminated films, still keeping the mono-material as a key target in all packaging products.

The outcome is a wide range of flexible films for vertical or horizontal packaging, heat  sealing (for peelable or reclosable solutions), flow-pack and other applications (pouches, bags, covers, etc.).

The finishing and the film performance have achieved an outstanding level of quality: high gloss or matte finishing (Varnish/Mass), Anti-Fog treatment (Varnish/Mass), Full band microperforation (in continuous or by registration marks), Full band macroperforation (in continuous or by area, holes diameter 2~8 mm), barrier film (EVOH, PET Saran).

CP Fresh® Technology is the expression of CARTONPACK GROUP’s technical expertise that uses different synergic technologies to achieve the ultimate goal: the extension of shelf life of specific foods with specific conservation requirements.

Furthermore, CP Fresh® technology allows to auto-balance the natural “breathing” of the packaged produce, in order to maintain the organoleptic quality and freshness until consumption while keeping unchanged the flavor of the product.
