The R&D Division operates in three core areas:

LABORATORY OF
ANALYSIS

The laboratory specializes in testing raw materials for food packaging, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance. From migration tests to shelf-life optimization, it offers tailored analytical services to meet the specific needs of customers.

PRODUCT DESIGN
AND INDUSTRIALIZATION

This area transforms ideas into industrially feasible packaging solutions. From prototype development to material selection and production coordination, it provides a comprehensive service that balances creativity with functionality. A physical archive of packaging samples ensures customers can explore diverse options.

GRAPHIC DEVELOPMENT
AND DESIGN

As the creative hub of the Group, this department manages all stages of packaging design and printing. From concept to final product, it ensures exceptional quality and precision in flexographic, offset, and digital printing. The team also provides expert guidance to customers, delivering graphics that align perfectly with their branding goals.

This integrated approach enables the Group to deliver innovative, high-quality packaging solutions that meet the demands of today’s market while prioritizing sustainability.

2. PRODUCTION

Presenting itself as a manufacturing and logistics excellence, Cartonpack Group provides a service at an international level, making the development of customized projects, innovative packaging solutions in line with market trends available to the customer.

The Group has set out its technology in several production units, perfectly operating in synergy: these units are the core of Cartonpack Group, the utmost driver which boost any development and improvement.

Thanks to its long lasting experience in the fresh produce and food packaging industry, Cartonpack Group has been able to establish over time a special dialogue with its customers, based on listening to their needs, making its skills available to create innovative products able to offer the best solution.

Our goal is to enhance the product starting from the choice of the packaging raw material, carefully selecting the most suitable one for every application. Engaged for many years in the research of methodologies complying with international protocols and regulations to enhance the sustainable choices of the projects developed, Cartonpack Group has made an important journey in identifying effective solutions to concretely translate the principles of sustainability in the context of production of food packaging.

3. SALES NETWORK

Cartonpack Group recently started a process of market expansion that developed its sales network throughout Europe and beyond.
Today, the Group employs efficient collaborations with several trading partners, both distributors and manufacturers, trained to give full support for customers.
The Group has a strong national sales network with several subsidiaries spread all over Italy: agencies, distributors and deposits that provide a trusted service and a fast support to the market.
It is structured in the European market as well with the presence of Sales Offices and Deposits in Spain, Germany, UK and The Netherlands. A dense network of agents and commercial partners completes the structured sales framework of the Group. Moreover, the presence of long lasting relationships with Sales Representatives in the Middle East and Africa assures a strong presence also in those strategic markets where the trading of the fresh produce industry is becoming stronger today.

4. LOGISTIC

With the purpose of managing logistics flows, increasing productivity and efficiency, reducing costs and errors and optimizing the performance of warehouse logistics, Cartonpack Group relies the most innovative and tested information technologies. Logistics in Cartonpack Group means managing the allocation of goods in a dynamic way, optimizing handling activities and constantly monitoring every task and human or automatic resources.

FLEXIBILITY

A modern display interface helps getting several graphic support functions during the work: the three-dimensional views of the warehouse and the relative locations give the experience of operating within the space and having, in real time, the just-in-time situation of the locations.

LEAD TIME

Productivity, efficiency, traceability and management are our strengths. In Cartonpack Group, productivity means a reduction of checking times, good stocking and picking, just in time deliveries and rolling inventory.
Efficiency is synonymous with correct and verifiable inventory in real time, speed in the preparation of shipments, dynamic picking and evaluation of operators' performances. Furthermore, transparency is guaranteed by advanced control tools (KPI), by a constantly updated statistical dashboard and by the traceability and visibility of all logistics processes.
Finally, the management, which targets the optimization and rationalization of spaces, the automation of repetitive procedures, the absence of paper supports, precision and control in the receipt of goods and reduction of errors in picking and shipping.
