Carton Pack starts in a 2,000 sqm production site as a family business and focuses on manufacturing small packaging for fresh produce offered to the Southern Italy market

1970s - 1980s

Southern Italy represents the main regional market focus

1990s - 2000s

Carton Pack starts spreading its market reach towards Northern Italy and Europe

1995

Carton Pack enters the food industry packaging production

2000

Carton Pack relocates into a new 40,000 sqm production site (of which 20,000 sqm covered)

2001

Carton Pack moves towards the development of thermoformed PET packaging (up to 100% R-PET) and starts a long period of strong investments in rigid packaging production

2009

The company installs the first roof-mounted PV plant (726 kWp)

2010

Expansion of production facility, more than doubling the foot print (approx. 45,000 sqm covered)

2010 - 2017

Continuous investments in new product lines to enhance product range and quality. Ongoing focus on launching innovative products in the food packaging industry and further expansion in international markets

21 Invest Private Equity acquires the majority stake of Carton Pack, with Gianni and Giuseppe Leone maintaining the lead of the Company, with the aim of strengthening its market position in Italy and in the foreign geographies already served, while entering into new markets

Acquisition of CP Deutschland GmbH, a German exclusive distributor, and direct expansion into the German market

Founded in 1998 and is based in Acquaviva delle Fonti (Bari), specialised in the production and printing of corrugated cardboard and cardboard packaging. With over 50 years of expertise in the manufacturing, processing, and printing of corrugated cardboard - using flexographic, offset, and digital techniques - Ondapack excels in producing high-quality secondary packaging for the food industry and beyond.
Its recent integration into the Cartonpack Group has driven further growth and fostered valuable synergies in cardboard production and converting. This collaboration has also enabled Ondapack to expand its focus on primary packaging solutions for the fruit and vegetable market, reinforcing its role as a key player in innovative and sustainable packaging.

Spanish company founded in 1974, with a production facility located north of Barcelona. With over 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing cellulose-based packaging, Decapulp serves a wide range of industries, including chemical, food, and logistics sectors. The company specializes in sustainable, eco-friendly packaging solutions for both packaging and transportation.
Since joining the Cartonpack Group, Decapulp has accelerated its technological advancements and capitalized on synergies, further enhancing its offering of innovative packaging solutions, particularly for the fruit and vegetable market.
